Is it possible to install Mullvad VPN on immutable Linux distributions like Fedora Silverblue

    Hello everyone,

I am considering moving to an immutable Linux distro like Fedora Silverblue. However, I am a dedicated Mullvad VPN user and would therefore first like to know if it is possible to install and use Mullvad VPN on an immutable distribution.

    Hello,

I know that Security_OPA recently posted a guide on how to install Mullvad on Silverblue. However, please note that immutable distributions can differ significantly, so this method may not work on all of them. For example, it is possible that the same method will not work on VanillaOS, which is also an immutable OS.

Please have it in mind that as it is mentioned in this article, that for updating your Mullvad, you will need to remove it, reset your PC and then repeat the installation process using the latest installer file downloaded from Mullvad's website. This is the only downside.
