How can I transfer my Windows and data from my old PC to the new one?

  • I have purchased a new desktop PC and would like to transfer my Windows, data and installed apps to it.

I am looking for a safe and easy way to do this. Any feedback would be much appreciated!

  • There are several ways in which you can transfer all your data to a new PC, NVMe, SSD or hard drive.

The best method is to use software called Todo PCTrans Pro. It is one of the best and most user-friendly pieces of software I have ever seen. In addition, EaseUS provides excellent support in case you encounter any issues. One licence key supports two PCs.

Another option is to use backup software such as EaseUS Todo Backup or Acronis Cyber Protect to restore the software on a new PC. In this case, however, you should first install a fresh copy of Windows. You can, however, create a bootable restore point; I have experienced some issues with this in the past when restoring my backup on a new PC though.
Backup software is usually meant for the same hardware. For transferring your data to a new PC, it is recommended to use an app such as PC Trans.

Finally, another solution is a software called EaseUS Disk Copy. This software literally duplicates your disk onto a new one.
I haven't used this software yet, but I've read lots of positive feedback about it.
